Vertical Axis Wind Turbines - VAWT
Description
Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) are an innovative renewable energy solution designed to capture wind from all directions. Compact, efficient, and ideal for both urban and rural installations, these turbines provide sustainable power generation with minimal noise and maintenance requirements.
Product Details
Our Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs) are available in multiple models ranging from 1 kW up to 10 kW, designed to meet a variety of power needs for homes, small businesses, and community installations. Each turbine features a wind wheel diameter between 2.1 and 4.0 meters and is equipped with three reinforced fiberglass blades, engineered for durability and optimal performance. The blades vary in height from 2 meters to 6 meters depending on the model, allowing for efficient wind capture in diverse environments.
Built with a robust carbon steel body, these turbines are designed to operate reliably in harsh weather conditions, tolerating temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. They utilize a 3-phase AC permanent magnet generator (PMG) combined with an electromagnetic brake system for smooth and safe operation. To maximize efficiency, the turbines feature an auto wind-facing angle yaw method, which automatically adjusts the turbine to capture wind from any direction without the need for manual alignment.
Rated voltages vary by model, including options for 48V, 96V, 120V, 220V, and 380V, making them versatile for different electrical systems. Tower heights range from 5 meters to 10 meters, with independent tower forms that ensure stable installation across various sites.
These VAWTs are designed for low maintenance and can be seamlessly integrated with solar panels and battery storage systems to create hybrid renewable energy setups. This flexibility helps maximize uptime and reduce reliance on traditional power grids. With proven reliability, strong materials, and adaptable configurations, our Vertical Axis Wind Turbines provide an efficient and sustainable solution for clean energy generation.
